We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Café Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our café, located alongside our popular Greek-Italian restaurant on Auckland's North Shore.

This is a hands-on role for an all-rounder who enjoys working across customer service, food preparation, café operations, retail, and administration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the daily operation of the café
  • Preparing crepes and other café menu items
  • Making high-quality coffee and beverages
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Retail sales and point-of-sale operation
  • Ordering supplies and managing stock levels
  • Administrative duties and record keeping
  • Assisting with food service when required
  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or retail role
  • Strong barista skills
  • Experience with stock control and ordering
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead by example
  • A flexible and positive attitude

Pay rate: $28.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Hours of work: Full-time, minimum 40 hours between Tuesday to Sunday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with additional evening work as required.
