Jamong Ltd is looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager who is familiar with Korean and Japanese gastronomy.
We are a small, lively bistro serving authentic yet contemporary Korean and Japanese cuisine with a European twist. Our menu features everything from Korean Fried Chicken to a curated selection of authentic Korean and Japanese foods and beverages.
Position Details:
- Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
- Wage: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience and skills)
Key Experience & Skills We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry (Bar/Restaurant preferred).
- Good knowledge and work experience in Korean and Japanese F&B services is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Multilingual skills are an asset in serving our multicultural and diverse customer base.
- Strong administrative, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
- High standards of food hygiene and safety knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Relevant hospitality qualifications are preferred but not essential.
- A Diploma or higher in Hospitality, Business, or Arts is highly regarded
- Current LCQ (License Controller Qualification)
- Current Duty Manager Certificate
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure seamless service.
- Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, train, and mentor Front of House (FOH) staff to meet venue standards.
- Staff Management: Manage staff rosters, attendance, and overall performance.
- Customer Excellence: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, handling enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Guest Management: Monitor guest reservations and seating optimization.
- Menu & Promotion: Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning, special promotions, and marketing events.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and coordinate the ordering of food, beverage, and restaurant supplies.
- Compliance & Safety: Uphold the restaurant's policies regarding health, safety, hygiene, and strict compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act.
- Financial Duties: Oversee cash handling, POS operations, and end-of-day financial reporting.
- Venue Standards: Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the venue.
