We are looking for a Cook to join our wonderful team based in Auckland at The Taj &
Iconic. This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours per week and
the pay rate for this position will be between 26.00 to 28.00 NZD per hour depending on
experience and skills.


These will be some responsibilities:
 Ensure food quality and safety by inspecting ingredients, controlling storage
conditions, and regulating cooking temperatures;
 Prepare, cook, season, portion, and present food, including sauces, gravies, and
garnishes
 Accommodate special dietary requirements and manage food preparation to
meet set standards;
 Maintaining high-quality food preparation and presentation.
 May be required to train assistants in the preparation of food.
 Must be prepared to work weekends and Late/busy nights.


What You’ll need
1) Either a Qualification in cookery/Hospitality equivalent to level 3 or Higher or
relevant Work Experience of at least (2) years.
2) Having knowledge and understanding of food and hygiene regulations.
