Front of House Staff – Parade Ponsonby

Parade Ponsonby is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Front of House team member to join our team.

As a Front of House team member, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for our customers while helping ensure smooth and efficient daily service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setting and arranging tables and preparing the dining area for service.

• Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists.

• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff.

• Serving food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Opening bottles and pouring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

• Clearing tables and returning dishes, glassware, and cutlery to the kitchen.

• Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables and refilling or replacing glasses as required.

• Collecting payments for sales and operating point-of-sale machines, EFTPOS terminals, and cash registers.

• Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional, and efficient service.

• Making and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks where required.

• Keeping the dining, bar, and all Front of House areas clean, tidy, and organised.

• Assisting with opening and closing duties.

• Restocking beverages, glassware, cutlery, and other service items.

• Handling customer enquiries, requests, and feedback professionally.

• Working closely with kitchen, bar, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• Following all food safety, workplace health and safety, responsible service of alcohol requirements, and company policies and procedures.

• Performing other reasonable duties as required to support the efficient operation of the business.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous hospitality experience is preferred, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required.
