Store Manager
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee the day to day operations of our dessert café, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient business performance, and consistent delivery of our premium products, including ice creams, desserts, pastries, milkshakes, and beverages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the café, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise, roster, train, and support café staff to ensure efficient service and a positive work environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service and professionally resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
- Monitor customer feedback and, in consultation with kitchen staff, review and update menu offerings based on customer demand, seasonal trends, and business objectives.
- Manage stock ordering, inventory levels, supplier relationships, and minimise product wastage.
- Ensure the quality, presentation, and consistency of all desserts, pastries, beverages, and other menu items.
- Oversee cash handling, point-of-sale reconciliation, daily sales reporting, and operational performance.
- Develop and implement promotional campaigns to increase customer engagement and support business growth.
- Organise, coordinate, and host in-store events, seasonal promotions, and community activities to enhance customer experience and promote the café.
- Ensure compliance with New Zealand food safety, health and safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming café environment that reflects the café's premium brand standards.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure uninterrupted day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
- At least two years of Customer Service experience or a relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
