Alpino Cucina e Vino is looking for a Senior Front of House Server to join our team. Located in the heart of Cambridge, Alpino is known for traditional Italian dishes and local and international wines, cocktails and spirits. This senior floor-focused role suits a confident server who can step behind the bar when needed. If you take pride in exceptional service and want to grow with us, we'd love to hear from you.


What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in restaurants and bars (NZ or abroad)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Head waiter
  • Duty Manager’s Certificate
  • Experience in a high volume, fast paced restaurant
  • Experience fine dining principles, dealing with high end guests
  • Confident working the bar as needed — capable, not specialist
  • Strong communication and fluent English
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and a great multitasker
  • Flexible availability and a humble, team-first attitude
  • Great attention to detail.

What we offer

  • $25 - $27/hr based on experience
  • 30 - 45 hours per week, permanent full time
