Job Description:

  • This full-time role will require you to deliver exceptional service and take our guests on
    a casual and fun journey through our cocktail list; engage with our locals during happy
    hour and powering through our fast-paced dinner service.
  • Ensure compliance with New Zealand food safety and liquor licensing regulations
  • You'll help foster relationships with our suppliers, showcase your creativity and bring a
    high level of professionalism to the floor while demonstrating passion and commitment.
  • Ensuring a consistent and positive brand image
  • Handle inventory, budgeting, and cost control to maximise profitability.
  • Lead a dynamic team of 10-15 staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Train and mentor staff, cultivating a motivated and high-performing team.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality management (Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a similar setting.) OR a relevant Diploma or higher education.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.

  • Excellent knowledge of hospitality regulations, food safety and POS systems.

  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail.

  • In-depth knowledge of food, wine, and beverage trends.

  • Expertise in service sequencing, staff training, and roster management.

  • Strong financial acumen with a focus on profitability and budget management.

  • A proactive, hands-on leader with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

  • Hold a valid work visa and be available to work nights and weekends
  • Well-spoken with immaculate grooming and personal presentation

  • Permanent, Full-time role (minimum 40 hours/week) with remuneration between $30-$35 per hour for the right candidate.
