Monte Vista Residential Care is seeking two compassionate and dedicated Level 4 caregivers to join our team in Taupo. Responsibilities include wound management, medication administrationand ensuring resident's hygene and safety. Minhrs 30/week, must be able to work weekdays, weekends, PM and night shifts. Current First Aid and CPR certification required, or be ready to complete. Apply now for this permanant position to make a difference in our residnt's life.

Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily living activities under supervision of a registered nurse
  • Perform nursing procedures such as wound management, medication administration and manual handling.
  • Ensure rresidents hygene, comfort and safety.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and staff meetings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in residents condition.

Requirements:

  • Competenence in restaint, wound management, hoist and manual handling, medication administration and more.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to complete within 3 months of start date.
  • Ability to commuicate effective with elderly residents and their families.
  • Strong teamwork and adaptability skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and positive environment.
  • You must be physicaly fit to cope with the demands of the role.
  • Minimun level 4 or relevent qualification.
  • Must be able to pass drug and alchohol test as required.
