The roles are permanent, full-time employment with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week guaranteed.

The successful candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in healthcare support, aged care, disability support, or a related field, or hold a New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4) or an equivalent qualification. 
The role requires regular travel to clients' homes, medical appointments, and community activities, with travel undertaken as part of the position. From time to time, employees may also be required to travel outside their normal work area; any costs associated with such travel will be covered by the employer.
Applicants must provide at least 2 contactable references, have a clean criminal record, hold a valid driver's licence.
Job Description Summary:
  • Provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans and daily living needs.
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, mobility, and other activities of daily living.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship while maintaining clients' dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
  • Assist with household duties including shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
  • Transport or accompany clients to medical, community, and social appointments as required.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare professionals, family members, and other support staff to ensure quality care and support is delivered.
  • Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepover shifts, and rostered hours as required to meet clients' care and support needs.
