Triple S Thai Ltd, T/A Bangkok Station, is located in Mosgiel, near Dunedin. We provide top-class Thai food for travelers and locals. We now need a Restaurant Manager to manage our restaurant and help us provide top-quality food. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week.

 

The job involves the following tasks and duties: 

  • • Coordinating the overall operation of the restaurant
    • Ensuring the delivery of superior customer services
    • Taking reservations and orders, and arranging functions when needed.
    • Receiving customer feedback and making necessary improvements to the operation of the restaurant
    • Having a good understanding of how to handle problems to ensure smooth operation between the kitchen and restaurant.
    • Planning menus and pricing
    • Participating in the selection and training of new staff.
    • Organizing staff rotation and supervising staff performance
    • Estimating consumption, controlling cost and advising on making budget
    • Managing stock levels and arranging supplies
    • Maintaining records of transactions
    • Maintaining a positive working environment
    • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines

 

To qualify for the job:

  • At least three years of relevant work experience are needed.
  • A relevant diploma, or a Bachelor's degree in any major, can replace the required work experience.
  • Have a can-do attitude and be able to work effectively under pressure, as our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours.
  • You may be required to work on weekends.
  • You should also have good attention to detail to make sure everything that goes through your hands is thoroughly clean.
