Job Title: Multi-Store Manager

Pay Rate: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on the number of experiences

About the Restaurants and the Role
We are busy sushi restaurants in Hawera and Stratford. The available position is for an experienced and motivated Store Manager with experience in a sushi store and multiple stores. The candidate will be responsible for the management of the business and reporting to the Director.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in most aspects of managing/operating busy stores including:
· Manage the day-to-day operations of two sushi stores located in different cities.
· Plan stock levels, product range, prices and customer service standards.
· Order stock and supplies from suppliers, receive deliveries and check the quality of goods.
· Monitor stock levels and arrange replacement of damaged or defective goods.
· Ensure products are displayed properly and stores are clean, organised and well presented.
· Monitor sales, control costs and assist with budgeting and business planning.
· Promote products and help implement marketing and promotional activities.
· Keep accurate records of sales, stock and other business information.
· Recruit, train, supervise and support staff, including preparing work rosters and allocating duties.
· Resolve staff issues and customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
· Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and other business requirements.
· Work with the business owners to improve store performance, increase sales and support business growth.
What we’re looking for
· Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in business and mangament AND;
Qualifications of a diploma or higher level in Business Administration, Retail Management or related field.
· The candidate must have a driver’s License.
· Knowledge of labour laws, safety regulations, and accounting principles.
· Strong time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
· The successful candidate will be willing to work on weekends and early mornings, and if requested, provide a criminal record check.
