We are seeking a permanent full-time Administrator to join our Christchurch Night team immediately.
- Location: Cumnor Terrace, Woolston
- Shifts: Sunday to Friday, 10:00 pm – 6:30 am

As the key point of contact for our customers, you’ll play a vital role in managing inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring smooth operations. This is a hands-on role that blends administration, customer service, and operational support—including assisting with pick-packing and dispatch operations.
You’ll work closely with both the night warehouse team to:
- Process customer orders via phone, email, fax, and online platforms.
- Accurately enter orders, invoices and credits into Sage/ERP and Salesforce (CRM).
- Manage backorders and ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with pick-packing to support on-time market delivery.
- Communicate with Procurement and Customers regarding fulfilment updates (e.g., backorders and out-of-stock items).
- Perform general administrative tasks and contribute to special projects as needed.

You’re a resilient and customer-focused individual with a background in administration or customer service. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable switching between tasks—from admin to hands-on support.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- A formal qualification (Year 13 or equivalent).
- Proven experience in administration or customer service.
- Professional phone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to gather and interpret information
- Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (essential) and experience with CRM (Salesforce) and SAGE/ERP systems (advantageous)
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Strong understanding of processes, systems, and data entry
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an empathetic and adaptable approach
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
- Knowledge of the food services warehouse industry, NZ food products, and basic ingredients
