“K Chicken” in Tauranga is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead and manage its daily operations.
Our food is inspired by using the various ingredients from NZ locals to far east Asia,boasting a balance of sweet, savoury, salty, spicy and acidic freshness.
This Store Manager role would suit someone who is interested in growing their management career and developing within our business. The role guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $30 to $40 for the right candidate.
Key tasks of the role include:
• Plan, organise and control the overall operations of the business
• Formulate and implement operational policies, service standards and performance objectives.
• Determine the food and beverage range, stock levels, pricing and customer service standards
• Develop and implement purchasing, sales, marketing and promotional strategies to increase revenue and customer retention.
• Control operating budgets, labour costs, stock expenditure, sales targets and overall business performance.
• Monitor sales, financial transactions and operating results, and implement improvements where required.
• Select suppliers, negotiate prices and supply terms, and control the purchasing of food materials, beverages, packaging and store supplies.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels, control stock rotation and minimise food wastage and operating costs.
• Develop and enforce inventory, cost-control and loss-prevention systems.
• Recruit, roster, train, supervise and assess the performance of service and kitchen staff.
• Establish and enforce operating procedures, service standards and staff performance requirements.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, resolve significant complaints and implement service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with the Food Control Plan, food safety, hygiene, employment, and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records relating to sales, stock, staffing, food safety and daily business operations.
Ideal candidates are expected to have the followings but not limited to:
• At least 24 months of relevant work experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 12 months of experience in a managerial position.
• Strong leadership, organisational and people skills.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Positive attitude and the ability to manage a team effectively.
