We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Payroll Officer to join our dedicated team based in Rotorua.

About you

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Payroll role
  • Knowledge of payroll-related legislation, employment agreements, their interpretation, and application
  • Experience with computerised payroll systems and processes; high level of computer literacy skills (including advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook along with data entry skills)
  • Proven ability to cope under pressure with a high volume of work
  • High degree of numeracy skills and time data calculations with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to set own priorities and meet deadlines without the need for constant supervision
  • Good analytical, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with the ability to manage queries from customers in a professional and efficient manner.
