Anaesthetic Technician
This is an exciting opportunity for an Anaesthetic Technician looking to develop or expand their anaesthetic skills alongside a warm and friendly team.
We have an eight theatre Operating Suite that boasts large operating rooms including windows overlooking the valley and several remote operating areas requiring anaesthesia support. We are a dynamic and innovative provider of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery involving multi-disciplinary teams; along with services for obstetrics and gynaecological, ENT, general, orthopaedics, dental, maxillofacial, and acute services.
Hutt Hospital is the centre for five tertiary / regional and sub-regional services - Plastic, Maxillofacial and Burns Services; Rheumatology; School Dental Services; Regional Public Health; and Regional (Breast and Cervical) Screening Services.
The Anaesthetic Technician Team at Hutt Hospital has a culture for being welcoming and supportive. This position is open to skilled Anaesthetic Technicians. You will be a team player within a friendly multi-disciplinary Perioperative Department. Experience and professional requirements needed for the role.
- New Zealand Advanced Certificate in Anaesthetic Technology and Certificate of Proficiency or Diploma in Applied Science for Anaesthetic Technicians (NZ)
- Graduate Certificate in Applied Science for Anaesthetic Technicians (NZ) or
- Recognised equivalent as approved by the Medical Science Council New Zealand.
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
