About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Zealand Registered Nurse with experience in Cardiology and/or Radiology nursing to join our dynamic team.

This diverse role spans both the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Interventional Radiology, working alongside Cardiac Physiologists, Medical Imaging Technologists, Radiologists, Cardiologists, and the multidisciplinary team.

Interventional Radiology responsibilities include assisting with procedures such as biopsies, drainages, aspirations, spinal injections, CT colonography, vascular access procedures, Cardiac CT, and consenting and preparing patients for CT, as well as administering contrast for CT examinations. Within the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, you will assist with coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac and vascular interventional procedures, undertaking both scrub and circulating roles.

This position also provides opportunities to develop advanced skills, including ultrasound-guided vascular access, procedural sedation, and caring for patients undergoing complex interventional cardiac and radiology procedures. About You

• NZ registered nurse with at least two years nursing experience.
• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Enjoy being part of a team that values teamwork, respects individual needs and is motivated by excellent clinical outcomes.
• Provide a high standard compassionate care to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their imaging experience.
• Knowledge and experience of interventional radiology is desirable, and IV cannulation certificate would be advantageous.
