Registered Nurse - Maxillofacial and Burns Unit

Wellington Regional Maxillofacial and Burns unit based at Hutt Valley is seeking experienced surgical Registered Nurses to work 0.8 FTE.

You must have post graduate experience in a New Zealand health care setting. This is an exciting and challenging field to work in so you must be able to have the expertise to care for clients with high acuity care needs.

If you're keen to work rostered and rotating shifts with an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team, we would like to hear from you. A comprehensive orientation package will be given.

About you:

  • Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)
  • A current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and scope appropriate to place of work
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, including how to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in the nursing role
  • A commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
  • A personal commitment to on-going learning and development including attainment/maintenance of PDRP
