Ramen Tekapo is a busy and vibrant restaurant serving Japanese ramen in the heart of the beautiful Mackenzie Country. We're looking for two full-time Wait Staff to join our friendly team and help deliver exceptional food and outstanding customer service.

About You

1. Have at least 3 months' experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
2. Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
3. Delivers excellent customer service with great communication skills.
4. Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
5. Is available to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Your Role

1. Setting and arranging tables to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.
2. Greeting customers, presenting menus, and assisting with menu and beverage selections.
3. Taking food and beverage orders accurately and relaying them promptly to the kitchen.
4. Serving food and beverages efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service.
5. Opening bottles, pouring beverages, and refilling drinks as required.
6. Clearing tables, returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
7. Removing used glasses, bottles, and tableware, and resetting tables for incoming guests.
8. Processing customer payments using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers.
9. Recommending beverages that complement menu items where appropriate.
10. Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure efficient daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.
11. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer service to ensure every guest leaves wanting to return.
