Tabarik Enterprises Limited T/A De Grand Thai Restaurant is located in central Auckland. We provide top-class Thai food for tourists and local business people. We now need one Cook to help us to provide top-quality food. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week. The salary range is $25.00 to $28.00.

 

 

The job involves the following tasks and duties: 

·      Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the restaurant

·      Seasoning food during preparation and cooking, when necessary

·      Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking and presentation

·      Assisting in improving dishes

·      Assisting in managing the overall operation of the kitchen

·      Assisting in ordering supplies and stocks

·      Ensuring the kitchen’s operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations.

To qualify for the job:

·      At least two years of relevant work experience in the kitchen.

·      At least a level 4 cookery certificate, or a Bachelor’s Degree in any major, may replace the work experience requirement.

·      Be familiar with Thai Food.

·      You may be required to work during the weekend.

·      Have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours.

·      You should also have good attention to detail to ensure everything that goes through your hands are thoroughly clean.
