    Office All-Rounder (Part-Time)

Part-time Hours | Temporary Role with Permanent Potential

We're on the hunt for a rare breed.

    You know the type.

The person who can answer the phone professionally, juggle competing priorities, learn new systems, follow instructions, solve problems, keep things organised, and still have a laugh along the way.

If you're looking for a part-time role that offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to become a valued member of a busy team, we'd love to hear from you.

    About the Role

Our client is experiencing a busy patch and they need extra hands on deck to help keep their office running smoothly!

In this job, no two days will be the same.

You will provide support across a range of administrative and project-based tasks, helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes while also being the friendly, professional voice their key stakeholders interact with.

You'll be someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, learning new things, and pitching in wherever needed.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Answering phones and making calls with confidence
    • Handling emails and general administration
    • Assisting with projects and special initiatives
    • Data entry and database management
    • Preparing documents and correspondence
    • Coordinating tasks and following up on actions
    • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative requirements
    • Learning new systems and processes as required

    We're Looking For Someone Who:

    • Is genuinely seeking part-time hours - 20 hours per week approximately
    • Has a professional and confident communication style
    • Presents themselves well and takes pride in their work
    • Is tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software
    • Can take instruction and follow through
    • Is reliable, trustworthy, and dependable
    • Has excellent organisational skills
    • Can manage multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed
    • Stays calm under pressure
    • Has great attention to detail
    • Brings a positive attitude and a good sense of humour to the team
    • Is adaptable and willing to step up when needed

    What's In It For You?

    • Part-time hours
    • A varied role with plenty of learning opportunities
    • Supportive team environment
    • Opportunity to showcase your skills across multiple areas
    • Potential for the role to become permanent for the right person

You don't need any specific industry knowledge, but to succeed in this role you MUST have strong tech/computer and admin skills, plus the confidence to pick up and run with tasks you may not have done before.

We're looking for someone who is organised, capable, willing to learn, and enjoys being the person others can rely on.

A driver's licence is required, as are New Zealand work rights.

Shortlisted candidates will complete the Stafford registration process including an interview, completion of registration/declaration forms, reference checks, a Ministry of Justice check, and drug screening.

If you're the kind of person who sees what needs doing and gets stuck in, we'd love to hear from you.
