About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Registered Nurse who wishes to be part of our team in our 30 bed inpatient General Medicine Ward, Ward 33 North, based at Middlemore Hospital.

Working within a culturally diverse environment you will be required to communicate and support our patients and whanaau/family to ensure that they are provided a high standard of care.

You will need to be:

  • Be patient focused and provide an excellent standard of nursing care
  • Be a good communicator and a team player
  • Be able to prove active maintenance of your personal professional development

Salaries are based on the NZNO Collective Agreement Registered Nurse Scale

Essential requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current NCNZ
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate
  • 2+ years recent acute post registration experience in a large hospital setting in NZ
