About the Role
We welcome applicants from registered nurses who have significant experience in critical care nursing, have a background in nursing education, and a passion for supporting the practice development of nurses.
In this role, you will work in partnership with another nurse educator to facilitate the practice development programme for registered nurses within the ICU/HDU and contribute to wider organisational learning.
This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your knowledge of education strategies and evidence-based nursing practice to deliver contemporary critical care training and education.
About the Team/Service/Location
While based within the ICU/HDU team, nurse educators are part of the practice development team and have access to other experienced colleagues within the Workforce Development and Learning service.
About You
As a Nurse Educator you will be a registered nurse who has achieved a minimum of Proficient PDRP level and has worked in a critical care nursing specialty for greater than 5 years of clinical experience.
What you will bring:
- A minimum of Proficient level PDRP
- Postgraduate diploma or currently enrolled on the pathway
- Experience may include Educator/Adult Teaching, Preceptorship, RN Coach
- Able to travel by car as required between District Hospitals
