Registered Nurse - Paediatrics
As a Registered Nurse within the Paediatric Ambulatory Service, you will provide specialist nursing care to pēpi, tamariki, and their whānau across outpatient clinic and community settings. Using your clinical expertise, you will undertake comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, provide education and support, and contribute to positive health outcomes for children and young people.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support children throughout their healthcare journey and play an important role in promoting wellbeing, independence, and equitable health outcomes across the Hawke's Bay community.
Our Paediatric Ambulatory Service provides specialist care and support for children, young people, and their whānau across Hawke's Bay. We are a compassionate and collaborative team committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and whānau-centred care in both outpatient and community settings.

As a Registered Nurse, you will bring:
- Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
- IV certification/designation and a current New Zealand driver's licence.
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, young people, whānau, and multidisciplinary teams.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and delivering equitable, family-centred care.
Desirable:
- Paediatric and/or neonatal nursing experience.
- A current Professional Development and Recognition Programme (PDRP) portfolio.
