Office Manager
We're looking for an exceptional Office Manager to help keep a busy senior leadership team organised, connected and operating at its best. Working closely with the Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO), you'll provide high-trust executive support while helping coordinate the wider DCFO leadership team. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys solving problems, and can bring order to complexity.
No two days will be the same. You'll manage diaries, meetings, communications, travel, papers, actions, onboarding, reporting and team administration, while helping navigate the realities of a large organisation operating across multiple teams, locations and systems.
This is an opportunity to become a key member of the Central Region finance leadership team, working alongside senior leaders who are making decisions that impact health services across New Zealand. You'll be at the centre of the action, helping ensure the DCFO and leadership team can focus on what matters most while you take care of the details that keep everything moving.
You're not just organised. You're the person people will rely on. You are:
- Confident, capable and highly organised.
- Personable, approachable and fun to work with.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable managing competing priorities.
- A natural problem solver who anticipates needs before they're raised.
- Comfortable working with sensitive information and in difficult situations.
- Comfortable working with senior leaders and building relationships across a complex organisation.
Ideally, you'll bring significant Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Office Manager experience, excellent communication skills, strong judgement, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
