Ratanui Medical is seeking a General Practitioner Fellow to join the practice from March 2027. This is a full-time opportunity within a highly regarded community practice that has built strong relationships with generations of patients and their whānau.

You'll be joining an experienced and supportive practice team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Working alongside skilled nurses and dedicated support staff, you'll provide comprehensive primary healthcare across all stages of life, helping patients navigate both immediate health concerns and longer-term wellbeing goals.

Practice Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 6:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am to 12:00pm

What We're Looking For

• Vocationally registered General Practitioner and Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (or equivalent).
• Current MCNZ registration, or eligibility for registration.
• Strong clinical judgement and patient-centred decision-making.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality primary care.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team.
