Rental Operations Agent

Best of both world where you are not just sitting behind a desk all day! Based at the Palmerston North Airport, we have a casual position available for someone who has exceptional customer service skills and isn't afraid of hard work.

We work 7-days a week (Monday - Sunday) between the hours of 7:30 am - 8:00 pm. Ideally we are looking for someone who can work weekends but also has some availability to work as and when needed when staff is on leave.

About the Role

As a Rental Operations Agent you will be involved in both front of house and back of house aspects of our business! At the counter you will be interacting with our customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings.

On the other hand, you will be inspecting vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, driving, and parking our cars. You will also need to clean vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For

  • Full, clean, valid class 1 driver's licence is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided)
  • Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
