About the role
The role has an emphasis on acute flow, leadership, patient safety and management of resources requiring you to be flexible and adaptable to meet changing service needs.
The Duty Nurse Manager role is to co-ordinate and provide operational management and clinical support of all inpatient and support areas of the Palmerston North Hospital campus.
We are seeking to employ a Senior Registered Nurse who is looking for an exciting change and who hold excellent operational and clinical skills with a positive can-do attitude.
About you
- Registered Nurse with a current APC
- Minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience and able to demonstrate professional nursing leadership
- Current PDRP, ideally at expert level or working towards
- Current ACLS certification
- Evidence of postgraduate study
- You will have excellent communication skills
- Be familiar with local & national targets, systems, and processes
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
