We are looking for a full-time, permanent Administration Support Officer to join our Property Team at Christchurch Men's Prison. Reporting to the Reception & Movements Manager, you will be an integral part of a small but dedicated team that supports the Receiving Office, where people in our care are processed as they arrive, leave, or transfer to another prison. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the accurate collection, collation, recording, storage, and management of personal property belonging to people in our care. The team is also responsible for managing the property of people in our care at Rolleston Prison. Computer literacy and excellent attention to detail are essential, as you will be responsible for entering and maintaining information within the Department's databases. This is a people-focused position and involves regular interaction with people in our care, staff, and members of the public visiting the prison. The position is based at Christchurch Men's Prison and operates on a cyclic roster that includes weekend work.

The salary for this role is $64,717 - $68,434 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
