About the role
As part of our Internal Firm Services team in Wellington, you'll help create a safe, secure and well-supported workplace environment. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work across facilities operations, workplace support, contractor coordination and security administration, helping ensure our offices remain professional, efficient and client-ready.
Your day-to-day could include:
- Providing day-to-day facilities support across Wellington and regional offices as required.
- Supporting workplace operations including mail, courier, stationery and general office processes.
- Coordinating repairs, maintenance and contractor activity, including site access and safe working practices.
- Supporting security and access control administration, including cards, records and audits.
- Assisting with supplier coordination, invoice validation and facilities-related documentation.
- Supporting locker allocation, car parking administration and workplace records.
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure hazards, risks, accidents and incidents are identified and escalated appropriately.
- Supporting event pack-in and pack-out, supplier access and post-event reinstatement
- Maintaining facilities records, process documents and workplace systems accurately and consistently.
- Working collaboratively with Business Services colleagues to support a professional client and staff experience.
Skills you will bring or develop in this role
- Experience in a similar facilities, workplace support or operational coordination role preferably within a professional services or corporate environment.
- Confidence managing contractors and coordinating multiple external providers.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Strong organisation, prioritisation and problem-solving capability.
- High attention to detail, particularly across records, access control and follow-up.
- A positive, service-oriented approach and passion for delivering an exceptional workplace experience.
- Awareness of workplace health and safety practices and the importance of risk escalation.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and similar workplace systems.
- A strong sense of teamwork and shared accountability.
