Looking for a reception role with variety, flexibility, and purpose? White Cross Ascot 24/7 is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team in Remuera. This is a part-time position (30 hours per week), offering a mix of shifts across a 24/7 urgent care environment.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, works well in a busy environment, and takes pride in providing a positive experience for patients.

About the Role As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting and assisting patients with warmth, empathy, and professionalism
  • Managing appointments, bookings, and front desk enquiries
  • Supporting patient arrivals, registrations, and administrative processes
  • Working closely with doctors, nurses, and the wider clinical team
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Contributing to a welcoming and efficient clinic environment

Our rosters are planned in advance, providing visibility and flexibility while still offering the variety that comes with working in a 24/7 urgent care setting.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • Confidence when communicating with patients from a wide range of age groups, backgrounds, and circumstances.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous reception, administration, customer service, or healthcare experience
  • Confidence using computer systems
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts across a 24/7 roster

Experience in a medical or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
