Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.

Counties Manukau is looking for an experienced physiotherapist interested in rehabilitation.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist with an interest in neurological rehabilitation to join our team. This is a full-time role split between the adult inpatient rehabilitation ward (ward 23), and the AT&R outpatient service.

On ward 23 you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide specialised inpatient rehabilitation for patients under and over 65 years following a stroke, other neurological conditions, amputation and general conditions.

You will be involved in the supervision and development of rotational staff, rehab assistants and physiotherapy students. There is scope for involvement in leadership, service development projects, staff education and quality improvement work.

You will be professionally supported by a section head and other experienced physiotherapists as well as the wider team.

Counties Manukau fully supports ongoing education and development of all employees including regular supervision and fortnightly in-services.

So, if you are looking for a challenging, fun, and friendly place to work offering you a supportive working environment we would like to hear from you.

  • Minimum two years clinical experience
  • Previous experience working in a rehabilitation team
