Team Coach - Respite Mental Health (Registered Nurse)

Lead our Nelson-based respite mental health service in a permanent full-time, Monday–Friday leadership role.

The Role | Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi

  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of kaimahi in our respite service
  • Provide clinical oversight to ensure safe, high-quality care
  • Work closely with clinical teams to support tāngata whai ora during short respite stays
  • Role-model and embed our values, trauma-informed practice and peer-led principles
  • You'll be part of our regional Team Coach group, reporting to a Service and Relationship Manager and joining a collaborative, innovative team focused on continuous improvement.

You | Mōu

  • Comfortable working within a Māori context, with familiarity in tikanga and committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
  • Hold a current New Zealand clinical registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in mental health and addiction services with skills in trauma-informed care
  • Full New Zealand driver licence and current (or willing to obtain) first aid certificate
