Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is looking for qualified Mammographers to join our teams across the country. Whether you are looking for a bustling city or a coastal escape, we have permanent full-time and part-time roles immediately available. By joining us, you'll play a critical role in both our symptomatic service and BreastScreen Aotearoa (BSA) during an exciting period of major investment, including expanding our free screening age eligibility from 50–69 to 45–74.

Remuneration and Career Development

We offer a competitive, fully transparent salary structure that honors your overseas experience:

  • Core Clinical Scale: $77,000 to $108,000 NZD per annum
  • Advanced Practice: Up to $116,000 NZD per annum
  • Senior & Leadership Pathways: $111,000 to $151,000 NZD per annum
  • Continued Learning: Funded ongoing professional development. (We may also provide training pathways for standard MITs looking to complete their PG Cert in Mammography).

What You'll Bring

  • A recognized qualification in Mammography/Breast Imaging (including tomosynthesis). International qualifications will be assessed for equivalence.
  • Eligibility for registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB) (we will help you with this).
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centric care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
