About the Role

  • Empower Tamariki: Provide assessments, preventive care, and therapeutic treatments that eliminate health inequalities.
  • Collaborative Practice: Partner closely with our Dental Assistants and the wider healthcare team to provide holistic, patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities

  • Champion Prevention: Lead the charge in oral health assessments and design individualized care plans that set tamariki up for a lifetime of healthy smiles.
  • Clinical Excellence: Deliver high-quality therapeutic and preventive treatments across our fixed clinics and mobile units.
  • Empower Communities: Act as a health educator, giving patients and whānau the tools and knowledge to take control of their own oral health.
  • Holistic Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure oral health is integrated into the overall wellbeing of our community.
  • Clinical Stewardship: Maintain precise patient records and uphold the high regulatory and safety standards our service is known for.
