About the Role
In Marlborough, Adult Mental Health Services are delivered by an established multi-disciplinary team based at the Wairau Hospital in Blenheim. This team delivers a comprehensive clinical resource to adults affected by acute or enduring mental health conditions.
Working as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team - this position would be of interest to candidates with a minimum of one year's relevant mental health experience. Or experienced professionals looking to develop leadership and mentoring skills.
The team provides both a psychiatric acute assessment service and ongoing treatment for those with severe and enduring illnesses. Duties include, assessment and supervision of individuals presenting with acute mental health problems, episodic case management and delivery of behavioural health interventions. The role will require you to train as a Duly Authorised Officer and may include regular on-call and weekend work.

About You
You will need be an NZ Registered Psychiatric or Comprehensive Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapists with an up-to-date knowledge of mental health and associated issues. You will possess excellent social proficiency, personal resilience and professional attributes required to undertake this challenging role.
