We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Night Porter to be the trusted overnight custodian of the hotel experience.

This is a flexible opportunity, available on either a part-time or full-time basis, working 10:00pm to 6:00am.

About the role

While most of the world sleeps, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, presentation, and calm atmosphere of the hotel. This is a hands-on, independent role suited to a mature person who takes pride in their environment and enjoys working autonomously.

Your nights will involve:

  • Ensuring the security of the hotel and grounds
  • Preparing public areas for the next day's service
  • Cleaning and maintaining guest and staff spaces
  • Supporting late-arriving or early-departing guests
  • Responding calmly to any overnight matters or emergencies
  • Assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen upkeep if required
  • Being a quiet, capable presence throughout the night

What you will bring

  • A genuine passion for service and hospitality
  • The ability to work confidently without supervision
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and personal pride in your work
  • Reliability, honesty, and a high level of responsibility
  • Flexibility and maturity in your approach
  • A current First Aid certificate (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
