Provide general practice medical care across network clinics in Taranaki

Locum General Practitioner

We are seeking an enthusiastic permanent full-time GP Locum to join the close-knit team in Taranaki. This position is ideal if you enjoy working in a supportive environment where no two days are the same.

Pinnacle is a not-for-profit organisation that works with general practices, community health providers and allied and secondary health services to deliver quality health outcomes to our communities. We are passionate about the delivery of progressive primary care and are looking for a Locum General Practitioner to join our highly skilled and committed team. Pinnacle would like to continue its successful locum service that is offered to our member practices in Taranaki.

As part of the general practice team you would be responsible for providing patient-centred, culturally appropriate, and individual holistic care. Patients should feel that they have been dealt with in a professional and friendly manner.

Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer

  • Guaranteed employment in a variety of general practices across our network.
  • Hassle free booking placements to reduce administration and give you more time to spend doing what you enjoy.
  • Ongoing professional development.
  • Flexible work arrangements that suit your unique circumstances.
  • An attractive staff benefit package.
  • An opportunity to be involved with projects within primary health care, if this is something that interests you.

As our successful candidate, you will hold or be eligible for registration with the NZ Medical Council and current practising certificate. Ideally, you will be a member of The Royal New Zealand Collegiate of General Practitioners. You will be working with Indici and Med Tech Evolution PMS systems. Pinnacle will provide Heidi Pro with which you can adapt to your own requirements and work across all the practices.
