Requirements:

2 years of relevant experience or a Level 4 or above relevant qualification; Bachelor's degree or above; no major restrictions.

Must be flexible for work, able to work on weekends, and must cover our required shifts.

Long-term and full commitment are required.

Before production runs, inspect equipment cleanliness and workplace conditions to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Inspect the quality of incoming raw materials and accurately weigh and measure recipe ingredients.

Perform kneading, resting, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping of dough, shortcrust, and flaky pastry for local Hong Kong baked goods.

Prepare various fillings for pastries

Prepare a variety of traditional Hong Kong-style pastry fillings (e.g. lotus seed paste, red bean paste, custard, pineapple filling, meat fillings).

Monitor oven temperatures and observe product colour and texture to determine correct baking times for Hong Kong-style pastries, buns and cakes.

Co-ordinate batch production workflows for Hong‑Kong‑style baked products: forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of pastries, cocktail buns, pineapple buns, wife cakes and other local specialties.

Glaze and finish baked buns and pastries; decorate Hong‑Kong‑style cakes with cream, buttercream and fondant icing.

Operate bakery machinery for rolling pastry sheets, moulding dough and cutting traditional Hong Kong-style biscuits and cookies.

Empty, clean and apply grease to baking trays, tins and all other cooking and bakery equipment after production
