ED Administrator Emergency Department, New Plymouth Hospital
Part-time fixed term contract until November, 2026

About the Role
The Emergency Department is a fast-paced, busy place, seeing up to 35,000 patients a year. This role is a frontline customer service position, and you will need strong information technology skills.
About the Team/Service/Location
Our Emergency Department administration team is a dedicated, supportive, and highly experienced group who work closely with nursing, medical, and allied health staff to ensure the smooth running of the department and a positive experience for patients and whānau.
About you
The successful candidate must have:
- ED Administrative experience essential
- The ability to work under pressure
- Be able to work all rostered shifts
- Multi-tasking skills
- Compassion towards others
- Resilience
- The ability to be very mobile around the department
- Be able to work as part of a close-knit team
- Strong customer service skills
