Qualified Pharmacy Technician

This is a 38 hours per week, permanent Level 5 NZ Qualified Pharmacy Technician position. Your primary role as a Pharmacy Technician will be to provide dispensing, compounding, and repacking services in a hospital environment. There are potential opportunities to participate in ward-based multidisciplinary teams, assisting the pharmacists with medicines reconciliation, assessment of patients' own medicines, and discharge counselling. This role will primarily be based at the Hutt Hospital campus, but may require you to work at the other hospitals within the District.

The pharmacy team is well respected by clinicians, nursing staff, and senior management across the organisation, and is constantly looking at ways to improve the service and care it delivers. As a pharmacy department, we have a strong clinical presence across all areas of the hospital and linkages into our local community. We provide a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical care and extended roles to a variety of clinical areas. NZ Qualified, Level 5 Pharmacy Technician

1+ year pharmacy experience, hospital preferred
