About the role

The Breast Care Services Outpatient Department is a dynamic, busy, challenging and rewarding place to work.

  • Specialised department as a member of the multidisciplinary team with a primary focus to provide excellent patient care.
  • Focus on patient education and support - particularly for women treated for breast cancer and other breast conditions
  • Working towards nurse led clinics
  • Involvement with Quality Improvement of the breast care service
  • Whilst you are in this role you will be supported through completion of a Post-Graduate qualification in Breast Care
  • This is a Monday to Friday position

About you

We are looking for a caring and experienced Registered Nurse with the following skills and background:

  • Hold a current APC for New Zealand
  • Organised with good computer literacy
  • Team based approach
  • A Surgical background would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written

Salary range

This role belongs to the expired NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between the step 2 ($81,683 p.a) and Step 7 ($106,739 p.a prorata) of the Registered Nurse scale.
