Job Description: South Island Marketing Professional Timaru
Develop and implement marketing plans and local advertising campaigns for our South Island stores. Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and weekly payroll verification. Supervise staff to ensure high customer service standards and compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations (Food Control Plan).

Position Title Marketing Professional - Sal’s South Island based at and with oversight of Timaru
Store
Objective of Position To promote Sal’s to the wider South Island region. Oversight of Sal’s
Timaru and manage relationships with Franchisees and Managers of South Island
stores.
Report to Sal’s NZ Marketing Manager and NZ General Manager
Relationship with Suppliers,Staff, Customers
Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
● Developing and implementing the Marketing plan and objectives for Sal’s South Island stores.
● Prepare weekly KPI reports; Financial reports experience is preferable with knowledge of
spreadsheets
● Cashflow and budgeting preparation for the NZ CEO and Accounts team
● Leading the advertising campaigns locally in conjunction with the NZ Marketing Manager.
● Market research for new products and promotions; Reporting on marketing initiatives the
Marketing Manager and General Manager
● Payroll experience preferred. Send weekly payroll admin to head office and verify hours
clocked in by staff to be correct.
● Teachability in learning the Sal’s way and working with Head office in oversight and
implementation of sales and marketing support and guidance (eg especially for mandatory
procedures)
● Formulating and implementing purchasing for marketing partnerships and marketing policies.
● Managing marketing stakeholder relationships;
● Training and supervision of staff before, during and following marketing programs
ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations; advising on the
importance of customer service;
● Professionally communication skills; serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed procedures, but above all in a professional, courteous manner
● Manage the Food Control Plan. Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies.
● Advising staff on sales and marketing in pricing, advertising and selling.

Must be flexible to work weekends and evenings. Must have at least two years of relevant Marketing management experience.
