Industrial Cleaner / Production Assistant

Hands-on Industrial Cleaner / Production Assistant needed for a busy high-hygiene manufacturing site in Mount Wellington.

We are looking for an Industrial Cleaner / Production Assistant to join our client's great team in Mount Wellington! This is a hands-on role within a busy high-hygiene manufacturing plant, suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in keeping things clean and organized, and is happy to pitch in wherever needed. Shifts / rosters: Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm Pay rate: $25.95+ starting rate. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Carry out daily cleaning of production areas, machinery, equipment and workstations to maintain high hygiene standards
  • Remove production waste and recycling, and keep the plant clean, tidy and safe
  • Assist the production team with general labouring, housekeeping and other hands-on tasks as required
  • Use a forklift to move raw materials, finished products and pallets around the site
  • Help with stock movement, storage and other general plant and warehouse duties

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Previous experience in an FMCG, food production, manufacturing or similar high-hygiene environment
  • A current forklift licence and confidence operating a forklift amongst busy manufacturing lines
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck into a hands-on, physical role
  • Great attention to detail and a strong focus on hygiene and safety
  • A reliable attitude and the flexibility to help out across different areas of the plant
