Our Adult Emergency Department (AED) has an excellent faculty with expertise in resuscitation, trauma, disaster, pre-hospital medicine, helicopter emergency medical services, research, and clinical toxicology.

About the Role

Our busy AED at Auckland City Hospital needs Medical Officers, GPs, and/or Fellows to join us on fixed-term or permanent basis. We're looking for adaptable professionals who thrive in rapidly changing environments. You will work alongside our diverse healthcare team to deliver high-quality care in a setting where quick, accurate decision-making is essential. Your primary focus will be efficiently managing patients with minor illnesses and injuries in our high-volume, quick-turnover department.

About you

  • Medical practitioner fully registered with the New Zealand Medical Council
  • Training in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
  • Commitment to biculturalism and Māori health
