About the Role

Looking for flexibility and variety in your nursing career? Tauranga Hospitals internal Nursing Bureau offers you the chance to work across multiple services, gaining experience in a range of clinical areas while enjoying the freedom of a casual roster.

As part of the Bureau team, you will be deployed to different wards depending on short notice leave and hospital needs. Each shift brings new opportunities to broaden your skills, support diverse teams, and make a real impact on patient care. Comprehensive orientation and support are provided to help you thrive in our specialty areas. This is a casual role.

About the Team/Service/Location

Our talented Nursing Bureau is a vital part of Tauranga Hospital, ensuring consistent and responsive nursing support across services. You will join a team of adaptable, skilled professionals who thrive on variety, collaboration, and providing excellent patient-centred care in one of New Zealands fastest growing regions.

About you

To be successful in the role you will display motivation, flexibility, and enjoy the challenge of stepping into different clinical settings. You will bring recent acute experience, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands.

What you will bring:

• Current NZNC registration and Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Recent acute nursing experience medical, surgical, or orthopaedics preferred.
• Experience in ICU/HDU, ED, Paediatrics, Maternity, and/or NICU advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering safe, quality care.
• Working for Health New Zealand
