We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to join our team in Rotorua.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu.
  • Ensure food is prepared to a high standard.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen.
  • Follow food-safety and health-and-safety requirements.
  • Manage food portions and minimise wastage.
  • Assist with stock control and kitchen supplies.
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods.

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in kitchen.
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Location: Rotorua
Position: Full-time
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

Pay rate 25 to $35 per hour
