About Us

Mason Clinic (Regional Forensic Psychiatry Services) provides an integrated forensic mental health service to the northern regions Courts, Prisons and General Mental Health Services. It consists of eight forensic mental health inpatient units and an intellectual disability unit that assesses, treats and assists in the recovery of people with mental illness or intellectual disability who have committed a criminal offence or are at high risk in the community.

Our community services consist of Prison, Court Liaison and Community Teams that assess, treat and assist in the recovery of people with mental illness who have committed a criminal offence or are at high risk in the community.

About the role

As a Court Reporting Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of court reporting and billing processes, supporting clinical and medical staff, and assisting senior management with day-to-day administrative tasks. You will be responsible for coordinating court reports, prioritising multiple urgent tasks, and ensuring all documentation is produced accurately and promptly.

You will also work closely with other administrative staff to promote best practices and ensure a collaborative, resourceful working environment. This role requires a balance of independence and teamwork, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Admin Clerk to join our multi-disciplinary team who can demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Posses outstanding customer service and communication skills with a positive outlook
  • Have excellent MS office skills
  • Experience with handling cash, hospital IS systems; PiMS, HCC and transcription would be an advantage
  • Be flexible and motivated to effectively manage a variety of situations as they arise
  • Have cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Be able to work with discretion and confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and the capability to work to deadlines are essential
  • Be a team player who also has the ability to demonstrate personal initiative.
