As a Health Care Assistant within the Waitematā Central Staffing Team (Bureau), you will have the unique opportunity to work across a variety of clinical areas, providing essential support where it is needed most.

You will use your skills to provide short notice leave cover and support clinical environments during periods of high demand. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organisation while enjoying the stability of permanent hours.

About the Team/Service/Location

The Waitematā Central Staffing Team supports services across both North Shore and Waitakere hospital. We are a responsive, solution-focused team committed to ensuring safe staffing and quality patient outcomes.

About you

As a Health Care Assistant, you will bring adaptability and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care.

  • At least 3 + years experience as a Health Care Assistant in New Zealand
  • A Current First Aid Certificate
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Permanent Residency or New Zealand Citizenship
