About the Company
Victory Square Scaffolding Rental Limited is a newly incorporated company located in North Shore, Auckland. We specialize in construction services and machinery leasing. We are currently looking for an Office Manager to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position with an immediate start date.

 

About the Role
We are looking for an organized and proactive Office Manager to manage the daily operations of our office and ensure efficient administrative systems and processes.

The successful candidate will manage office resources, supervise staff, ensure compliance, and support financial and HR functions to keep business operations running smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help plan and review office services, and set priorities and service standards.
  • Allocate staff, office space, and equipment.
  • Assign work to staff and monitor their performance.
  • Manage office records and accounts.
  • Liaise with professionals (such as engineers and project managers) to support office operations and resolve problems.
  • Ensure office equipment and supplies are properly maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements.
  • Ensure all work follows government laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate HR tasks such as hiring, promotions, performance reviews, payroll, training, and staff supervision.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the employer.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Level 5 Diploma or higher in Business, Management, Accounting or a related field, OR
  • At least 3 years’ experience in office management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills.
  • Good knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and customer focused.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • No history of failed drug tests.
