- Assist residents or clients with personal care, including showering, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence care.
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, positioning and the use of mobility aids where required.
- Assist with meals, hydration and feeding in accordance with individual care plans.
- Observe residents’ physical, emotional and behavioural wellbeing and report any concerns or changes to the Registered Nurse or appropriate supervisor.
- Support residents to maintain independence and participate in daily activities where possible.
- Assist with medication-related tasks only where authorised, trained and permitted by workplace procedures.
- Follow individual care plans and instructions provided by nursing or clinical staff.
